Valentine’s Day is a very special day at Ce Soir, and we hope you will join us. There is nothing in any world like LOVE, and so, we are eager to share le parti de Saint-Valentin with you! We will celebrate the wonders of love in many ways. We shall begin with poetry, continune with art and – always – music. There are likely to be some special little surprises along the way, so don’t miss out! We’re taking Monday off this week just to prepare, so we’ll see you on Tuesday! (NOTE: Roy Mildor‘s photographic art is in the Guest Gallery and the venue space is open for your enjoyment, so come round whenever you like!)

We’d love to say more, but…! We promise, though, a more detailed post will come soon, but for now, here’s a sneak-peek at what’s in store for Tuesday, 14 February 2012:

NOON SLT: RUSSELL EPONYM will read lovely romance poetry at The Magic Tree Reading Spot. Russell’s warmth and charm is equalled by his eloquent speaking voice and sensitive reading style. You will enjoy this hour. Come, relax beneath The Magic Tree and be delighted! What a lovely way to start the celebration of love!

Then, from 4 through 6 PM SLT, join us in the Main Venue as three of SecondLife‘s finest musicians entertain us with their wonderful music, chosen especially for this Valentine’s Day.

At 4 PM SLT, seasoned pianist/singer/songwriter PM BOOKMITE will serenade us with tender songs of love and life. Each beautiful original or cover song carries a theme that weaves itself into his set and makes a lovely tapestry of sound and meaning, straight from and to the heart. You may wish to dance or just sit and listen as PM casts his spell, but whatever you do, you’ll be happy to be here.

CHRISTOPHER135 QUAN takes the piano stage next, at 5 PM SLT. This award-winning songwriter is also a talented vocalist, and you’ll be lifted up by his heartfelt compositions and cover songs, chosen just for you – and perhaps someone special. Christopher can jam with jazz or croon sweet love songs with style; it’s a not-to-be-missed hour with this musical master.

Next, at 6 PM SLT, the amazing SKYE GALAXY steps to the piano. From the very first note as it wafts through the hall, you can tell you’re in for something special. The energy is undeniable, but its the entire experience that makes it so moving. A whispery voice that enthralls and a sound so full sweeps you along for the entire hour on a journey of what I call power and grace. What a tremendous way to end this most wonderful evening of celebration at Ce Soir!
