Hey. Aeon here. Yep…it’s finally happened! The lovely Mireille has let me speak! I laugh, because actually she’s one of the best listeners in any world – when she stops moving, that is. Talk about a powerhouse of energy! Wow.
But now, it’s my turn to bring someone to Ce Soir, and it’s someone I admire greatly for his many charitable endeavors, especially on behalf of Wounded Warriors, a national non-profit organization in the USA that assists veterans and their families in a variety of important ways. Please check out this website to learn more about this worthy group: http://www.woundedwarriorproject.org/.
Yes, folks, it’s PonDman Haalan who’s going to come and play at Ce Soir today, at 5 PM SLT. Come along and hear him. PonDman, AKA Alton Rex, is a nationally touring performing songwriter and has been a professional musician for over 40 years. He brings this history of songwriting and professional touring to his Second Life performances. A true artist and poet, his originals have been featured in several RL venues across the USA and in SL. He has worked with many other musicians in successful fundraising efforts for Wounded Warriors, and while this event today is not a fundraiser, you can look for Ce Soir to support their efforts in coming months. We are proud to host this singer/songwriter in his first performance at this venue. Come join us as we welcome PonDman Haalan‘s special blend of captivating melodies and whimsical story songs!

Then, at his usual hour on Thursdays, 8 PM SLT, Ce Soir fave MoShang Zhao steps in to chill us out for the evening. MoShang, The Sound Jeweler, lives in Taiwan. He collects rough audio diamonds from the busy streets (be they overheard conversations, street-ads blared from the ubiquitous blue-trucks, street processions or funeral chants) and fuses them with traditional Chinese instruments and laid-back beats to create a unique blend of downtempo electronica he likes to call Chinese Chill. Listen, if you’ve not heard this, you’ve got to come tonight and catch this amazing music. MoShang is just awesome to hear. Energizing and soothing at the same time, it’s a real treat for the ear and the spirit. You’ll be glad you came around for this, guaranteed.
Hope to see you soon! Thanks for dropping by!
