It was a beautiful night…and before we settled down for a long winter’s nap to await the arrival of Jolly Ol’ Saint Nick, we settled in for an hour of lovely poetry and other readings with our Poet Laureate, Russell Eponym. He was in fine form, and a sweet crowd gathered to enjoy Russell from “down under,” as he is visiting the glorious Melbourne – and the sweet and lovely Kadoodle.

Not to let travel interfere, we simply shifted the time of his weekly hour at The Magic Tree in Ce Soir up a couple of hours. It’s working famously, and we hope you’ll come along next Tuesday at 2 PM SLT to join us.

Russell regaled us with seasonal poems and some beautiful Christmas carols. We sipped our hot chocolate and both laughed and cried our way through the hour. Russell is so good at selecting a lovely mix of poetry and prose for our enjoyment – and the music is always the perfect touch.
