Wow. We had a great time hosting 10 hours of live music to raise funds for STAND UP 2 CANCER© this past weekend. Ten of SL’s most talented musicians stepped to the Ce Soir Castle stage in two days of fun and music – and we were just a small part of this major series of events over three-and-a-half days. The grid-wide effort was stunning – with 23 venues and more than 150 musicians participating and offering their best to huge audiences of generous folks.
Leader Still Braveheart gathered and organized everyone participating and kept us all informed, every step of the way. Even the kiosks were easy to use – and the funds did not have to pass through anyone, but instead went directly to the SU2C© account for management. It was a joy to work with Still – and with these amazing, caring musicians who gave so much of their time, talent (and who all donated too!)…
Check the schedule we enjoyed at Ce Soir Castle. These musicians were just wonderful, and we were able to transition, show to show, seamlessly and without trouble. They sang and played, showcasing their talents beautifully! We have a feeling that many of them will be back at Ce Soir… Besides, the place was packed most of the time and the banter was so much fun! We chatted and danced and sang along – and made those totals SOAR! We made many new friends and saw old ones popping in to donate and offer their best wishes. What an outstanding experience – and what benefits for SU2C©! We can hardly wait til next time!
THANK YOU to everyone who donated! YOU deserve a hearty round of applause!

For a report on the amazing amount earned grid-wide for the SU2C© weekend, click here. We raised our goal of L$100,000 at Ce Soir Arts during the SU2C© weekend…and that incredible total, grid-wide (more that L$1.5 million) is astounding. YAYA!
And did you know??? The wonderful SKYE GALAXY (Sean Ryan) came into SL to fill in for someone who could not make a show (at LC Live!). We were able to catch his set, and it was – as always – magical! What a treat!
