Greetings, everyone!

The Avi Choice Award Nominees were recently announced, and VOTING IS OPEN! This time, Russell Eponym has been nominated in three categories: Favourite Acoustic Singer, Favourite Male Performer, and Favourite Singer in Standards, Classical or Ballads. This is exciting, and so let’s all get out the vote!

Of course, there are other categories in which to vote, and some nice person nominated Ce Soir Arts in the Favourite Art Gallery Category. My goodness! With the galleries on hiatus in January (until mid-February), we’re hoping that visitors will not be too disappointed. Look for something special by Valentine’s Day!

Also, the lovely Skyspinner Soulstar has been nominated in the Favourite Machinima Category for her work on the “What SecondLife™ Means to Me” project for SL12B! It’s a lovely look at the beauty to be found in our world, so do click on the link to view her machinima – and enjoy! Note that she has other films available to view, so don’t miss those! Each one is a special take on what’s happening in our world from Sky’s perspective. All are interesting and well done.

We note that Caledonia Skytower, who also reads at The Magic Tree has been nominated in the Favourite Spoken Word /Performer / Actor Female Category. Her original works and other readings are outstanding, and you must hear her soon! Note that she will be reading today (see above for details – and do join us!) Voting is limited to one vote per avatar/resident/ISP, per category. Avi Choice Awards ~ the Arts voting will close on Sunday, February 21st at 8pm SLT. Winners will be announced at the Avi Choice Awards Show on Feb. 28th.
