We are pleased to announce that Avilion Cameo Theatre (ACT) is again visiting at Ce Soir Arts for the purpose of presenting another of their stunning plays this 25 September. A special platform has been created for the production with a lovely forum-style seating area and scenery placed by exceptional builder Layne Thomas, a member of the company. A landmark will be available nearer the date of the performance.
The Unicorn Tapestries is a play based on a tale woven around the 15th century set of six tapestries known as The Lady and the Unicorn, now on permanent exhibit at Musée national du Moyen Âge (formerly known as Musée de Cluny) in Paris. Over the course of the play, secrets hidden within these fine works of art are revealed. Beautifully told by the players of ACT, the story holds quite a bit of intrigue, and we will be swept away by the telling of the story in drama, dance, and song. Come along and enjoy this delightful presentation, overseen by our friends Bajoy, Dramaturge for the company, and Moon Aerandir, Bard of Avilion.

Avilion is celebrating their 10th anniversary in Second Life™ by hosting a series of events as part of the Avilion Harvest Arts Festival: Sound and Inspiration. The events of 16, 17, and 18 September will highlight the celebration. Opening on 16 September at 2:45 PM SLT, the festival will include poetry readings and workshops; musical performances by singers such as Samm Quendra; and presentations by groups such as the Avilion MerBallet.
