We at Ce Soir Arts are happy to be involved in the StandUp2Cancer effort in Second Life again this year. It’s an innovative and very effective programme focused on research into this terrible disease. Cancer has touched all of our lives in one way or another, and this is an excellent opportunity to come together and show our support – and make a difference. Every donation counts, as they all combine to make an impact, making the work of the SU2C Research Dream Teams possible.

Our second round of shows is this Wednesday, 14 September, and we invite you to come along and enjoy the music of three fine performers as they give of their time and talent toward the SU2C cause. Check out this schedule!

3:00pm – 4:00pm – Ren Engberg (Freestar Tammas) brings her talents as a singer, songwriter, and musician to the Château Ce Soir stage to benefit StandUp2Cancer. Her vocal range is lovely and her repertoire is broad and filled with an eclectic mix of sound and emotion that is sure to please. Come on over and relax with us as we enjoy Ren’s sweet take on a variety of songs including her own soaring compositions. We’re not sure if her RL love Quai will join her, but we’re guaranteed to enjoy this hour as we support the work of SU2C!

4:00pm – 5:00pm – MrMikie String will take the stage at 4 PM to benefit StandUp2Cancer, and will he entertain us! He comes ready to deliver a great show, and is eager to take your requests. He loves singing his own songs and does wonderful covers from various genres. MrMikie offers oldies, standards, country, classic rock and songs of love. Join us for a fantastic hour of music and fun with MrMikie String – all for the great SU2C cause!

5:00pm – 6:00pm – Mance Moonwall is a dedicated singer and guitarist based in Charleston, South Carolina. He performs blues, classic rock, southern rock and country, and a typical concert consists of Mance‘s originals and covers by a wide range of artists. Every song is performed in his own unique style – live with acoustic guitar and vocals. He has opened concerts in RL for Savoy Brown featuring Kim Simmonds, Paul Thorn, Al Stewart, David Allan Coe, Laurence Jubar & Quiet Riot. Come enjoy this experienced musician as we raise funds for SU2C!
