Yes, we’re hard to find in-world these days. That’s by design, as we’re extremely busy IRL. We’ve been working at home and have just made it through the first wave of summer visitors. After all, we do live in a beautiful part of the world and there are many exciting points of interest nearby including some of the world’s best restaurants and entertainment centers. Add to that the relative remoteness of our home and the quiet of this gorgeous hilly landscape not far from cool blue ocean…we’re a prime destination for family and friends, and we do love it. We’ve settled into a nice, easy tempo for early summer, and we hope you have too!

Of course, there’s always time for fun at Ce Soir Arts…and here’s a closer look at what’s in store, coming up!

TUESDAY, 06 June – NOON at The Magic Tree

Russell Eponym, the quintessentially British artist living in Wales and Poet Laureate of Ce Soir Arts, will have our attention for an hour of outstanding poetry, prose, and music. It’s always a fascinating hour with a compelling Thought for the Day and a brief reading from Richard Templar’s wisdom book: The Rules of Life. Add to that various readings and some genuinely enjoyable music – often from other artists as well as from Russell himself – and you’ve got something relaxing and special. Come along, as there’s plenty of room for a crowd at The Magic Tree!

THURSDAY, 08 June – 2 PM, 5 PM, 6 PM, and 7 PM at Château Ce Soir

At 2 PM it’s more with Russell – this time, it’s all music and smiles in a 90-minute show – LIVE from Wales – that is bound to please. Beautiful original songs mixed with an array of well-chosen covers will fill the time and delight us, one and all! Russell is known as the master of his own genre: folk, blues, and beyond, and it’s truly a wondrous mix. Come ready to dance or relax to his velvet vocals and exceptional finger-picking guitar…PLUS! We’ll be ready to welcome you!

5 PM, 6 PM, and 7 PM…the musical magic continues – starting at 5 PM with BAZ doing an hour of Stevie Wonder! That is going to be extra-special, because this guy is a superb professional musician who has extensive talents in arranging as well as performing. His original music is excellent, but he truly makes a song his own whilst honouring other musicians. Come along to hear this fabulous hour and you’ll soon know what I mean! An excellent instrumentalist, BAZ has some of the most stunning arrangements of stellar music around. Join us for a fantastic experience: Stevie Wonder music through his lens!

As you can see by the above image, BAZ will start things off with some of the sweetest music around at 5 PM, but the party keeps going through 6 and 7 PM with even more marvelous music for your enjoyment! Come get in the swing with some really happy music from the masterful Stevie Wonder! BAZ is known for creating shows that highlight singular musicians or groups; you may have heard one of his striking Beatles sets, or maybe one of his deep blues evenings. These programmes of his creation have always swept us away on clouds of magic…and we’re expecting an especially exciting hour with BAZ on this night!

At 6 PM, the PARTY continues, as that southern star – ANJ GUSTAFSON – steps to the stage and shines with his guitar, piano, flute, and powerful vocals. Friends gather and there’s lots of warm banter – and usually a toast to the night! Ki will be along with her professional dance HUD, and other dances available at the Château will keep you moving in time to the music. You’re likely to hear music streaming live from ANJ‘s studio from the likes of Radiohead, Pink Floyd, Matchbox 20, and lots more. His own music is gorgeous, and my favourite is Crystal Lake…. Come join us!

NUVOLINO, our favourite Aussie composer/arranger/performer, brings his signature trance/electronica to help us CHILL for the night. His light show is in-cred-i-ble, and you do not want to miss the opportunity to groove to the sound he makes. It’s all originally-written music and there’s really nothing like it on the grid. Many of the songs have a story – and you can get lost in them as waves of sound whisk us away on a sonic magic carpet ride. This music makes your body move and the groove runs deep. Come on over and grab your spot on the dance-floor – if you’re not already here!
