The birthday turned into a weekend – and then turned into a week! It was a glorious time of fun and frolic including some amazing shopping and lots of fine meals with friends and family. Of course, there was the obligatory strawberry cake and presents galore. What a fun celebration!

Now, we’re back and things are popping at Ce Soir Arts. Of course, the Poet Laureate of Ce Soir Arts – RUSSELL EPONYM – will present his delightful programme of poetry & song on Tuesday at The Magic Tree. You won’t want to miss it, so come round at NOON SLT to hear from RUSSELL as he shares from his extensive music collections and literary library. Always a treat!

At 1:30, the lovely CALEDONIA SKYTOWER will join us – also at The Magic Tree – for a reading of Washington Irving’s stunning Legend of Sleepy Hollow. The headless horseman will have us all thrilling to his adventures in the night, and Cale’s deft telling of the tale will have us riveted so as not to miss a single word. What a grand way to open the chilling season of Mad Masquerade here at Ce Soir Arts!

Wednesday will roll around to bring us more spoken word magic. Master Storyteller BRYN TALEWEAVER will be on hand at 1 PM SLT with his outstanding programme: DAEMONS! He’ll be dressing the part…and I think we might just join him with a bit of gothic flair as he regales us with a bit of fright and intrigue!

Our dear author/reader DUBHNA RHIADRA is traveling and finds herself in an area where Internet connection is shaky, at best, and so her planned presentation of Andzerj Sapkowski’s Geralt the Witcher (you may know the game!) will have to wait until next time. Stay tuned!

We’ll wrap the week on Thursday with a stunning 90-minute musical show with RUSSELL EPONYM. His folk, blues, and beyond is legendary, and we so enjoy it – and the wonderful crowd of friends who gather – every week at 2 PM SLT. All are welcome to enjoy this fine music and charming banter. As you note by the schedule above, the AUTUMN LEAVES Exhibit remains open for viewing at Côte de la Mer Galerie. It will close mid-October to make way for the MAD MASQUERADE Exhibit – which will be found in various creepy locations on the sim. Hallowe’en is near…and it’s going to be SPOOKTACULAR at Ce Soir Arts!
